TSG wins EUROBIKE AWARD for Kraken+ Helmet
Zurich, Switzerland, August 28th, 2012: Safe, adaptable and comfortable, the Kraken+ Helmet with MIPS Brain Protection System and FlexTech innovation convinces the jury of the EUROBIKE AWARD 2012.
TSG is proud to announce that the Kraken+ Helmet won the EUROBIKE AWARD 2012. This is the second award that TSG receives for its Kraken Helmet collection. In 2011 the TSG Arctic Kraken Ski and Snowboard Helmet won the ispo Boardsports Award.
With the new Kraken+ Helmet TSG goes one step further and combines the award-winning FlexTech innovation with the new MIPS Multi-Directional Impact Protection System.
Due to FlexTech technology the flexible interior shell adapts to individual head shapes for safe and pressure-free wearing comfort. The movability of each single foam part also guarantees a superior distribution of impact energy.
The MIPS system now adds a low-friction layer between the outer shell of the helmet and the foam liner, in order to mimic the body’s natural protective systems of the human brain. The outer shell slides on impact separately from the interior foam shell, thereby absorbing a great portion of the rotational forces of an angled impact, ensuring maximum protection of the head.
The magnetic Fidlock buckle closes automatically, and conveniently opens with a lateral slide with two fingers.
All those innovation have been incorporated into a helmet that already features anatomically correct Low and Snug Fit Design for superior fit, comfort and safety. Therefore it would appear reasonable to claim that the Kraken+ is the safest helmet of the world.
